We offer two open-plan self-catering cottages, Sugarbird House and Sam's House - comfortable, cosy and quiet. Each has its own entrance and stoep. Each sleeps two adults. Our cottages are popular with people coming for the joys of rock-climbing, mountain-biking and just chilling out. We are biker-friendly!
No children or pets. The cottages are unfortunately not wheelchair-friendly.

Sam's House has a TV with DSTV and Netflix. Please indicate whether you'd like the cottage with or without TV when booking.

Weekend: R850 per cottage per night
Weekday: Single night: R850 per cottage per night
Multiple nights: R750 per cottage per night
The charming village of Montagu is walking distance from New Song – 600 m takes you into the village and its fine dining restaurants, coffee shops and quaint pizza joints. Both museums, including our famous indigenous herb museum, are within easy walking distance.

From Swellendam, Robertson, Ashton – keep on the R62 through Cogmanskloof – take the FIRST ROAD RIGHT before entering the town: MONTAGU SOUTH, VAN RIEBEECK STREET, TO 16A (on the right). Signboard says Sugarbird House.
From Barrydale – Long Street takes you into town. Continue to Church Street and turn left. At the first stop turn right – 4th house on the left is New Song. Signboard says Sugarbird House.
